Athletic Trainer
Duties and
responsibilities: Athletic trainers conduct an initial assessment of
an athlete's injury or illness in order to provide emergency or continued care,
and to determine whether they should be referred to physicians for definitive diagnosis
and treatment. Care for athletic injuries using
physical therapy equipment, techniques, and medication.
Salary: $51,483-$44,235
Education: The minimum requirement for most
athletic trainer positions is a bachelor's degree, but many of these professionals
have a graduate degree.
Reflection: I actually would like to be an
athletic trainer simply because I like to help others in their time of need.
Also because I like sports.
